Our ImageWear Frame Division is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager, with optical industry background preferred, to represent our proprietary eyewear collections and accessories in the Central/Southern Ohio Territory. Job Summary

Generate new and active sales within the assigned sales territory. Exceed established sales quotas. Manage high level of customer service and maintain positive business relationships.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage sales activities with accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Utilize the computer to communicate, place orders and maintain reports.
  • Follow the sales call process and be proficient in each area.
  • Submit reports and complete special projects within the timeframe established by sales management.
  • Identify territory zones then develop an effective call cycle to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain sales sample bags, materials, and customer information in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
  • Meet / Exceed sales quotas.
  • Maintain effective budgetary control of travel expenses.
  • Communicate pertinent information to all levels of the organization.
  • Protect client and Walman business interests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by sales management


  • Four-year college degree preferred, with emphasis on business-related fields
  • Minimum three (3) years of optical industry sales experience ( ideally Frame sales)
  • Strong self-management, with proven ability to meet & maintain deadlines
  • Strong presentation and professional selling skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to travel, with up to 50% overnight travel required
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver s license and insurable driving record that complies with the Walman Optical Company Motor Vehicle Policy.
