APi Construction Company (APiCC) is a nationally known specialty contractor focusing on mechanical insulation & metal coverings, industrial siding, and scaffolding in heavy industries. APiCC is a part of APi Group, Inc. (, a $3.5B holding company representing more than 50 Life Safety, Industrial, and Specialty Construction companies.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Accountant position at our New Brighton, MN location, the corporate headquarters for our parent company, API Group, Inc. The role s primary responsibility is to ensure accurate and timely billings while assisting with other Accounting duties.

REQUIRED qualifications for this position include:

  • Degree in Accounting or related area
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in Accounting
  • Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with customers
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexible work style, with the ability and willingness to change directions as the business need arises
  • Must be able to work effectively in a deadline oriented environment with changing priorities
  • Proven history of process improvement and working across departments to create system-wide success
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of internal management an staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Must have a "no job is too small" attitude

Responsibilities will include:

  • Time and Material billings for APi Construction
  • Improving processes by collaborating with multiple roles
  • Compliance related projects including miscellaneous state required fillings
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • General office duties
