Temperature control systems installation, including digital, electric, and pneumatic control systems.
Building mechanical and controls systems maintenance and service.
Building Systems Commissioning
Design and installation of turnkey facility improvement projects focusing on energy savings or system upgrades.
Design, installation and service of integrated access control, IP video and security systems.
Systems integration of various types including integrating existing systems into new ones to leverage a client s original capital expenditure while improving or adding features or serviceability to their building systems.

Job Role

  • Install controllers, field devices, electrical cable, conduit systems (EMT, GRC, PVC, etc.), copper tubing (with solder joints), and plastic tubing in a neat and workmanlike manner
  • Stay familiar with installation materials and control devices; their function, use, and proper mounting & installation
  • Work independently and be able to coordinate job installation and completion with onsite personnel, but also ask for guidance before starting an unfamiliar task
  • Report discrepancies between FICO's drawings and mechanical/control equipment onsite
  • Attend product training and information classes to maintain and enhance controls knowledge
  • Assist with job commissioning, start-up procedures, and owner training if necessary


  • Ability to organize and direct co-workers
  • Ability to listen and comprehend instruction from supervisor
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience with mechanical or electrical systems
  • Ability to read wiring schematics, all types of blue prints, and DDC/BAS control drawings
  • Basic mathematical and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Demonstrates flexibility in a changing work environment during the course of a work shift
  • Availability to work overtime, varied shift hours, and out of town when needed
