We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Assistant Electrical Engineer in the Facilities Group in our Endwell, NY office.

Primary Duties include:

  • Performing a variety of routine design tasks which are intended to provide experience and interaction with higher-level staff, methods, practices, programs and culture of the corporation. For training and developmental purposes, assignments may include some work that is typical of a Senior Technician
  • Solving engineering problems using experience, judgment, and education, with assistance when required
  • Proficiency in the use of computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, Revit, and CADD
  • Preparing, or assisting in the preparation of, engineering documents, details, schedules or reports, as assigned
  • Attending client meetings/presentations – daytime or evenings
  • Communicating with client representatives, contractors, suppliers, etc.
  • Serving on field inspection teams to obtain and document existing conditions using field notes, sketches, and photography
  • Developing quantity take offs and construction cost estimates
  • Participating in site visits/inspections/documentation during construction

The preferred candidate should have a 4 year engineering degree, or a 2 year engineering degree with 3 years relevant experience. An EIT certificate is preferred. Compensation for this position depends on experience. This position provides a competitive benefits package.
