We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our team! Details of the job include the following:

Job Description:

  • Lead and direct other employees in meeting daily established goals, train and develop talent in subordinates
  • Fill out daily timesheets and other paperwork
  • Interact with the customer on a daily basis
  • take direction from and coordinate with Kent s superintendent on a daily basis
  • Locate materials, formwork, equipment, and tools onsite and offsite, and direct others to utilize such items to meet established production and quality goals
  • Show and direct others how to properly maintain all equipment, form boards, and tools so that they are in a safe and reliable working condition
  • Properly layout all work to be performed based off drawings and given survey points
  • Use hand tools to properly install bulkheads, formwork, shoring, and materials to designed specifications
  • Install and maintain fall protection, barricades, and other safety systems
  • Walk and work on uneven surfaces, carrying formwork and resteel up to 100 lbs on a frequent basis.
  • Place, position, erect, and dismantle bulk heads, formwork and resteel on a frequent basis
  • Climb ladders, scaffold, and shoring on a frequent basis
  • Work from a kneeling, crouching, or bent over position frequently
  • Pour, level and finish freshly placed concrete
  • Layout control joints on green concrete
  • Grind or cut either green or cured concrete on a frequent basis
  • Wear a dust mask in the presence of nuisance materials
  • Work in unfavorable weather

Qualifications

At least 3-5 years experience in a concrete related field.
