Job Description

We are a leading Air Conditioning Company in the North Houston area that is seeking a service manager with strong leadership and mentoring skills to head up a growing division. S/he must have an EPA certification and TDLR registration, a passion for customer service satisfaction, sales training, critical eye (and process) for inventory controls, as well as strong project management abilities. The ideal candidate will have had past experience in managing a Residential Service HVAC Division.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:

  • Recruit, train and retain technicians and installers
  • Motivate, manage and discipline technicians
  • Manage to key financial objectives (gross profit, operating profit, etc.)
  • Address customer complaints related to field operations
  • Oversee all subcontract charges and material charges
  • Prepare daily/monthly performance report and average ticket report daily/monthly
  • Assure adherence to all TDLR governances


  • Other duties as determined by management

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in design, installation, and maintenance and repair experience of residential HVAC systems.
  • Commercial HVAC experience preferred.
  • Must be bi-lingual with English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of fleet dispatch and logistics a plus.


  • Class B HVAC Contractors License needed (Class A preferred)
  • NATE certification needed (NATE Proctor & Trainer preferred)


  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
  • Familiarity with basic dispatch software.
  • Successware and Accuity experience a plus.

Compensation Package:
