We are currently seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to join our team in Urbandale, IA.

In this position, you ll leverage our training programs and service guidelines to create exceptional onboarding experiences for each product or service implementation. At BirdDogHR, the Implementation team is driven by our customers success. With us, you ll combine your analytic and project management skills with your ability to simplify complex information – helping customers develop the skills and confidence to use our products with ease. Position reports directly to the VP of Operations.

Implementation Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete BirdDogHR implementations for all new customers
  • Help customers set up and configure the BirdDogHR ATS and Talent Suite to meet their business requirements
  • Confirming all account information is correct
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through timely solution delivery within client-defined timeliness
  • Engage with client throughout implementation, until client is successfully running BirdDogHR solutions
  • Complete necessary training with customers
  • Other duties, as assigned

Accountabilities and Performance Measures:

  • Meets assigned expectations for profitability
  • Achieves customer objectives defined by company management
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction that meets the company standards
  • Increase Average Customer Values (ACV) by delivering solutions and service
  • Generate Referrals to support the Sales Team


  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar SaaS Software Implementation role
  • PMP Certification is preferred
  • Proven ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands
  • Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish tasks
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards
  • Must be able to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise, and escalate to the appropriate level
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations
  • Proficient in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
