Our Nouveau Eyewear Division is seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst. Nouveau Eyewear is a leading provider of quality frames to eyewear retailers, optical laboratories and independent opticians…making this, an exciting opportunity to join our TEAM!

Job Summary

Analyze and purchase inventory for current SKU s and future launches to meet both customer and company expectations and goals. Manage the lifespan of our products, maintaining adequate stock levels to meet customer demand without being overstocked.

Duties:

  • Effectively and efficiently apply knowledge and available resources in performing job.
  • Exercise a strong sense of priority, time management and follow through.
  • Oversee bi-monthly analysis of all product re-orders on assigned SKU s.
  • Meet annual inventory turn goals and customer order fill goals.
  • Communicate with Product Development Team and suppliers on factory performance, product specifications, and priorities.
  • Recommend discontinuance of models and items for close out.
  • Determine best mode of transportation to reduce overall shipping costs and meet timelines; this requires communication with freight forwarder(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications

  • 4 year degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent combination of education and work experience in inventory and supply chain.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access Database.
  • Must have strong ability to multi-task, work independently and as a team.
  • Must be able to manage large amounts of SKU s and product launches, with the ability to order product independently based on skilled judgement.
  • This position requires critical thinking skills.
