Job Description

The applicant will be involved in the development of integrated circuits (ICs) for next generation advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD) systems.  As part of this work the applicant will have the opportunity to conduct basic research and develop next generation products/systems from concept to production.   

Responsibilities

  • Develop novel IC based solutions for ADAS and next generation LiDAR products/systems.  
  • Design of analog mixed-signal systems/architectures for ADAS sensors and sensors interfaces.
  • Responsible for all stages of IC development from concept, design to layout and test.
  • Basic research on topics/concepts in the areas of Mixed-Signal IC design.
  • Champion new ideas driving them from initial concept to implementation.
  • Joint research with universities is encouraged.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, specializing in sensor interfaces or data converter circuits, or MS with 5+ years of relevant IC design experience. Experience in LiDAR system development is a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of and skills in low-noise and low-power precision mixed-signal circuit design, sensors, analog and digital signal processing.
  • Experience developing sensor readout circuit architectures or analog-to-digital converter architectures and their building blocks.
  • Experience in the behavioral modeling of mixed-signal systems in MATLAB/Simulink and Cadence and transistor level design of the analog building blocks.
  • Experience with IC design and verification software, e.g. Cadence Composer, Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence Spectre, Virtuoso AMS, Mentor Calibre, Cadence Assura, Skill language.
