To assist the Office Manager in developing and implementing ways to maximize services offered to members, monitor the budget, and serve as back up in the Office Managers absence. To oversee the front counter, kitchen, housekeeping and maintenance operations and make sure that policy and procedures are followed.


Provide back up to the Office Manager. This responsibility includes monitoring the overall operation of the park, overseeing the operation and working the front counter monitoring the budget and staying within guidelines, and have full knowledge of the accounting system. These duties would apply to Office Manager s days off, vacations, and providing support daily.

  • Maintains inventory. Compares prices, generates and places orders, ensures arrival of items through delivery or other means.
  • Provides input for the creation of the annual budget that is sent to the Board for approval.
  • Supervises the training and development of all staff.
  • Coordinate setup and tear down with maintenance department of each scheduled activity, as directed. Making sure supplies needed are ordered or bought. Working the activities or with volunteers as needed, which may include working late night activities.
  • Scheduling and timekeeping for employees.
  • Accounts Receivable and deposits (in Office Manager s absence).
  • Maintains accurate employee records.
  • Plans and organizes all long-range projects including collecting vendor bids, negotiating and finalizing contracts, and monitoring progress to completion, as instructed by manager or the Board of Directors.
  • Oversees maintenance, owner permits, security and inspection functions.
  • Notifies the Board and property owners of violations and follow through with appropriate procedures.
  • Creates the Associations Weekender .
  • All other duties assigned by the Office Manager/ Board


Manages the interactions between owners and staff to ensure that owners are treated with respect and given excellent customer service.

  • Sees that the owners questions and concerns are answered timely and appropriately.
  • Informs owners and visitors of Sherwood Forest Associations policies.
  • Sees that materials are provided to new owners and that they receive an orientation to the Association policies, activities and services.


Staying within the established budget, the Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of Sherwood Forest Association.

  • Maintains inventory of all assets.
  • Ensured compliance with various federal, state, county, local laws and regulations.
  • Maintains organization s website including using internet as an effective communication and marketing tool.
  • Oversees maintenance, security and inspection functions.
  • Notifies the Board and property owners of violations and follow through with appropriate procedures.
  • Maintains up to date insurance coverage including liability, fore, extended coverage, and workers compensation policies.
  • Coordinates Board, advisory council, annual property owners meeting, and committee functions as requested by respective chairpersons.
  • Oversees purchasing function.


4-year degree or 2- year degree with experience of 2 years in administration environment and supervision.

  • Team-oriented personality.
  • Background and drug testing required.
  • Ability to operate under pressure.
  • Comprehension of budget guidelines.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills.
  • Leadership skills.
