Job Description

SIGN-ON BONUS

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Pediatrician for the Beaumont area for our Outpatient facility. Must be comfortable working with the underserved population and supervisions of Nurse Practitioners. 3 12's 1/2 off Friday and weekends off.

General Description - Must Submit CV for Consideration

Perform assessments and provide treatment to clients of the clinic.

Meet or exceed productivity requirements as set forth by the Chief Medical Officer.

Develop and maintain clinical diagnostic and treatment protocols for pediatric treatment.

Remain available by phone during regularly schedule hours should assistance be required.

Assist in the review and development of patient education material.

Provide supervision of health care students assigned to the clinic for educational purposes.

Develop and maintain a program for clinical quality assurance.

Supervision of non-physician providers, including Licensed Therapists, Certified Nurse Practitioners, and Certified Physicians Assistants with respect to pediatric treatment.

Attend staff meetings and committees as directed and punctually.

Participates in the Performance Improvement Program

Other Duties as assigned


Education & Training Requirements:

Medical Doctorate with current licensure.
Board certified in Pediatrics


Work Experience Requirements:

Experience in a hospital setting or clinic environment.

Proficient with all aspects of an EMR system

Possess an interest children of all ages inclusive of adolescents
Uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity.
Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain professional license.
Must maintain good standing with professional licensing board.
Must demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity to all populations served.
Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, community, and the general public.
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation,
Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
