Bud Anderson Heating & Cooling is a long-standing company that homeowners and businesses trust to get their heating and plumbing systems back online. We have been in business since 1987, and we know the codes, climate, and types of construction in this area ensuring our team can provide personalized, speedy, courteous, reliable repair and installation services to our residential and commercial clients.

We are actively seeking a Plumber to join our team! This individual will assemble, install, and repair plumbing according to project specifications, appropriate trade and building codes. These systems may consist of pipes, fittings, fixtures and boilers for hydronic heating, water, and drainage systems.

Required Skills:

  • Competent, responsible, organized and team oriented.
  • Strong communication and average computer skills.
  • Strong basic math skills, architectural plans, drawings and mechanical design.
  • Ability to follow orders and directions with minimal to no supervision.
  • Maintain an active state and city license in all city/states you perform work in.
  • Lawfully drive to job sites and locations as needed.
  • Can work independently and with others to meet performance goals.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Diagnoses problems and/or failures in a variety of plumbing and gas systems.
  • Repairs and installs various types of pipes including iron, steel, copper and pvc.
  • Inspecting equipment, structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • Ability to operate powered equipment including hand tools, stationary machines and others as required in a safe manner at all times.
  • Makes decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Maintain a high-quality initiative while completing assigned duties.
  • Responds to emergency situations to resolve immediate safety concerns.
  • Tests for leaks in new and repaired systems with compressed air and/or water.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a continuous basis and more than 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to lawfully drive a motor vehicle and maintain a current driver s license to commute to the various current or prospective job sites in the region.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Currently be a 4-year Apprentice, Master or Journeyman Plumber
  • Previous plumbing experience required
  • Great mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things.
  • Ability to verbally communicate with management, city officials, on site customers and other employees.
  • Available for overtime as needed.
  • Can work independently and with others.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver s license.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret written materials, perform basic mathematical computations and use measuring tools.
  • Must be able to identify basic trade materials by size, shape and function.
