Job Description

Avery Dennison is seeking a Pricing/CRM Analyst for our Fastener Solutions organization, part of the recently created Industrial and Healthcare Materials business. The Pricing/CRM Analyst will have overall responsibility for all assigned areas for Pricing within Fastener Solutions with the goal to grow sales and to improve the gross profit margin year over year. This includes Pricing strategies, structures, process and guidelines, as well as documentation and administration.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Application of price management processes and utilization of standard methodologies
  • Provide regular actionable feedback to the product management and sales team on competitive insight and opportunities, and partner with Business Development to meet P&L objectives
  • Manage and maintain volume price agreements within and across all product lines, deviation documentation and approvals, and price documentation in and support Customer Service in business system documentation (QAD)
  • Ensure minimum and maximum volume attainment and monitor accounts for inappropriate use of special pricing
  • Prepare monthly reviews and follow up for Regional Sales Business Reviews and the monthly business presentation
  • Engage frequently with the Product Managers and Sales to advise on pricing, profitability calculations and handling quotations for assigned regions to win new business.
  • Update and monitor the price guidance, to ensure updates to reflect market conditions, new products are correctly positioned and adjusted for product cost inflation/deflation
  • Responsible for the year-end negotiations, to support Sales in the process of setting the new rebate agreements and price agreements with customers.
  • Utilize to improve efficiency for price management and administration, and provide feedback to IT as needed.
  • Manage customer price lists for currency adjustments and price adjustments

Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Pricing or Accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to influence, inspire, build relationships and negotiate with people at all levels with internal partners.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and work efficiently
  • Willingness and desire to learn the business and develop new skills and capabilities in the area of pricing
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, and capability to work closely with Sales and Product Managers
  • Attention to detail, organized and desire for continuous improvement and finding creative solutions
  • Confident, self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • The aptitude to work autonomously as well as part of team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with software systems
