We are searching for a motivated intern, majoring in Supply Chain Management, to support our Procurement Manager to advance current projects and implement projects as they become available throughout the duration of the internship.

Project & Responsibilities

  • Support growth/development of key metrics for Purchasing dashboard to monitor supplier on-time delivery and total landed cost for key raw materials/purchases
  • Support Procurement process and system improvement projects
  • Support 2019 purchase order process with supporting stocking agreements
  • Review of supply spend - opportunities for improvement which include cost savings, lead-time reduction and inventory turns
  • Opportunity to exploit Lavelle's "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" Initiatives (recycling programs, current and proposed)
  • Daily responsibilities for ordering and releasing materials from suppliers
