We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Project Architect in the Architectural Group at our Chevy Chase, MD office. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree with a minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience. An RA is required, and the candidate must have experience as a Lead Project Architect. Primary duties will include assisting the Project Manager in developing design parameters, scopes of service, and person-hour estimates during the proposal stage; provide lead architectural design services on a wide variety of projects; assign individual work tasks and provide guidance to subordinate team members of that design discipline; responsible for the quality control of work products; responsible for adherence to applicable codes, preparation of technical specifications, and processing shop drawings and submittals.
