Global Business Operations Deployment team works to create a singular focus toward a truly World Class
Operation, creating necessary Global Consistency and taking the thousand small
steps to improve strategies, activities, events, tools and processes that lead
to Exceptional Customer Service.

The Global Business Operations PM manages projects centered on the creation and
deployment of tools and processes that support global consistency. This
position works closely with the developers, specialists and other leaders to
ensure the project remains focused, on track and delivers high-quality
functionality to our customers. You will be an integral part of a great team of
developers, testers, and product owners. The successful Project Manager for Global
Business Operations is passionate about fostering a dynamic that allows for
collaboration and inspires others to high levels of accountability and
productivity.



Key Responsibilities

     
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather information for work requests, create project schedules, and manage projects to completion 
  • Track and manage change requests  

  • Establish and maintain communication with stakeholders  

  • Be responsible for the forward movement and success of all projects tied to department business needs    
  • Create user and technical support documentation around all created tools and reporting  
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the user application of all project management technology as required for assigned projects 
  • Conduct and document all weekly and daily meetings 
  • Lead Global Business Operations and development to ensure that the tools and processes designed are aligned with our core systems and are developed properly on a scalable level
  • Contribute to a global operational standard to create and protect the pursuit of a Best in Class operation

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Essential Experience

- Proficiency with the systems development lifecycle, including agile techniques and other methodologies

- Customer service-oriented attitude and top-notch time management skills

- Proven effectiveness in navigating ambiguity and helping diverse teams drive towards clarity and consensus

- Demonstrated ability in team leadership roles including facilitation, motivation, negotiation, and team-building

- Ability to recognize and mitigate risks

- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project management tools

Preferred Experience

- Understanding of the transportation/logistics industry

- Familiarity with Object Oriented development

- Training in Agile or as Scrum Master
