RAM Construction Services is seeking a motivated, self-starter and energetic Regional Sales Manager for our Grand Rapids, MI location. This candidate will perform a various coordinating task such as coaching and disciplining employees in assigned projects, communicating job expectations, planning and budget monitoring. This candidate should have excellent time management and communication skills as they collaborate with clients and deliver results on deadlines.

RAM Construction Services is the oldest and most experienced waterproofing and restoration contractor in the United States. RAM has built a solid reputation based on knowledge, experience and reliability. RAM Construction Services specializes in restoration of aging structures, and skilled waterproofing of new structures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for estimating new jobs and overseeing the project management of jobs from start to finish
  • Marketing to new and existing clients
  • Meet regional financial objectives by forecasting requirements, monitoring budgets, initiating corrective actions
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds the contract specifications and standard of excellence of the client
  • Developing project leads
  • Effectively lead people while having the keen ability to assess talent
  • Closing of new business.
  • Managing customer and partner relationships

Skills Required:

  • Five years of management experience required within a specialty construction company
  • Strong leadership and motivating skills, ability to manage multiple projects and staff
  • Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of construction safety and represents a strong safety culture
  • Results orientated & excellent follow through
  • Experience working with a self-performed specialty contractor
  • Ability to instruct staff on the processes, policies, and procedures essential to the business and provide corrective or disciplinary action in a professional manner
  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, contractors, superintendents & clients – both written and oral
  • Commitment to detail and the strong sense of urgency
  • Must be well organized and possess problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Ability to work under pressure, the willingness to do what it takes
  • Strong work ethic
  • Must be self-directed and results orientated
