Job Description

Maintains the cleanliness, integrity and appearance of exhibits and holding pools.
Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.

Principle Duties
Assists in the coordination of cleaning underwater facilities throughout the park.
Maintains accurate daily dive logs and records.
Must stay current on all OSHA dive regulations.
Utilizes safe handling, storage and disposal practices for toxic substances and hazardous waste in accordance with company policies.
Operates and maintains system for refilling compressed air cylinders used in diving operations.
Assists maintenance on underwater equipment as necessary.
Ensures general cleanliness of all facilities throughout the park.
Occasionally assists other locations and areas in the park as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Knowledge/Education/Training
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have one year diving experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 20 logged open water dives.
Must have and maintain a valid driver s license; out of state residents, active military, their dependents and students, must have a valid driver s license and provide a copy of the DMV report from their state of residency.
Must be able to complete the company's Vehicle Driver Training class and obtain a SeaWorld driver s license.
Must be Open Water Diver Certified, C.P.R., First Aid and AED certified.
Must have strong written/verbal communication skills and be able to speak effectively before groups of guests and team members.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100lbs with or out without accommodation.
Must be able to positively interact with guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and /or language, and individuals with special needs.
Employment is contingent upon passing a dive physical and swim test assessment.

Must be able to work between the hours of 6:30 AM - 11:30 AM 5 days per week Monday through Saturday. Occasionally Sundays, holidays, early mornings and late evenings.
