APiCC is seeking qualified candidates for a Site Manager/Site Superintendent position. This position will focus on assisting in the site management of an insulation/sheet metal, siding or scaffolding contract. The selected candidate will be mentored by Project Management and Director of Field Operations to further develop the candidates' skills and industry knowledge. This position will require a full-time presence at the jobsite as determined by the company. APiCC is a national scope contractor working extensively across the Lower 48. Field Management is typically required at most projects 10 to 24 months in duration.

REQUIRED qualifications for this position include:

  • High school degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience
  • Minimum of eight (8) years supervisory experience in similar facility construction methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required
  • Strong ability to read drawings
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • OSHA 30-hour training
  • Accurate, detailed, reliable, persistent, self-motivated, high energy, and ability to adapt to new situations
  • Ability to manage 20+ people
  • Equipment and materials management experience
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups of essentials

Responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and supervise company General Foreman and/or craft activities - includes determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule, and documenting actual hours worked.
  • Coordinate assigned work with work of multiple crafts, or other contractors
  • Maintain liaison with customer and project manager to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule
  • Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, claims, etc.) as required
  • Assist with Labor Relations in maintaining communications with unions, resolving jurisdictional disputes, requisitioning required manpower, etc., as necessary
  • Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented
  • Maintain liaison with other departments (i.e. Safety, Purchasing, Quality Control, Drafting) to ensure required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule
  • Perform additional assignments per Project Manager's direction
