Job Description

As part of CyberSource Strategy, Marketing, and Client Insights, the Senior Associate, Client Insights, will be responsible for ensuring successful execution of the annual learning agenda for the business and to help
identify consumer attitudes, needs, behaviors and emerging merchant trends that provide insights to drive business results and strengthen relationships with key merchants and partners. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, curious and creative in their thinking; have a strong background in both market research and project management. The position will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area with some travel expected.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage custom research projects, including vendors, to ensure deliverables are timely, cost-efficient and high quality
  • Facilitate the research process, indentify objectives, help formulate relevant design, participate in questionnaire development and analytic plans, interpret results
  • Produce insights-related content/assets, such as synthesis from disparate sources and assistance in development of compelling presentations intended for senior mgmt
  • Support efforts around Customer Experience Management platform with constituents
  • Oversee Merchant Communities (i.e. facilitating submissions by constituent groups) and other Voice of the Customer forums 
  • Help drive thought leadership initiatives, including interfacing with Mktg and other stakeholders
  • Assist with knowledge management and dissemination efforts: via Chatter, briefs, reports, shareouts and
    workshops, infographics, curated synthesis, coordination with Merchant Services data platform

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of project management experience, preferably with custom market research studies
  • Knowledge of basic market research techniques and methodologies required, preferably both quant and qual
  • Ability to multitask and work independently, within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to synthesize from disparate data sources
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills; Must be fluent in English, comfortable presenting
  • Curious, collaborative, and dynamic
  • Bachelor's degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience required, marketing, market research, psychology, sociology, anthropology, or related field preferred
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, advanced analyses tools experience a plus
