Job Summary:

Ronyak Bros. Paving is currently seeking qualified candidates with a Class A or B CDL to join our team! We offer competitive pay, full time and overtime work, as well as company benefits!

The driver will drive a truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump bituminous paving materials and other bulk materials by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Drives truck to destination
  • Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents
  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water, and all fluids and performs pre and post trip inspections
  • Responsible for the condition of the vehicle. For example, keep the truck clean and in good working order.
  • Inspects materials to ensure it has been loaded correctly and is secure and review shipping documents to verify all information is accurate.
  • Driver must be in DOT Compliance at all times during employment. Must maintain a clean driving record.

  • High school diploma or GED is preferred and one (1) to two (2) years of related experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL and current DOT medical card
  • Candidate must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work in a number of diverse locations is pertinent, as work locations may change daily.
  • Expected hours: hours will vary by job, location and season.
  • Good interpersonal and teambuilding skills
  • Must have adequate transportation to work
  • Adhere to safety procedures/guidelines at all times
  • Punctuality, consistent attendance, and self-direction for the success of the operations.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and depth perception.
